Chennai Beaches
Chennai Beaches! Of course the first spot I would like to write about are the beaches of Chennai and their #wheelchair accessibility. The three wonderful beaches i visited are 1.Marina 2.Besant nagar 3.Thiruvanmiyur Marina beach: Since I self drive my car which is a Honda brio with automatic transmission,I took my wheelchair in the backseat and my wife in the front seat.I always enjoy driving through Cathedral road as it is the best maintained road.I enter the beach road opp Dgp office and then enter the service road near the light house. Usually i rolldown my windows to take in the sea breeze and ride for about a km or two before parking the car .I select a spot which is close r to the sands to view the blue sea. Now I suggest to take out the wheel chair and my wife helps me to get out of the car and sit in the wheelchair. It is ecstatic to feel the sea breeze in the face.We usually h...
